STUDIO HIRE
Studio 1A Sydney is located in the urban warehouse hub just outside Newtown at Marrickville, Sydney. This location offers fantastic outdoors scenes as well as a large warehouse style studio where you can be free to spread out and get creative.
FREE WIFI with every booking
Studio 1A Sydney offers fantastic rates for students. The mininum hire fee is for 4 hours at only $100. Check out the prices below;
STUDENT RATES
- half day $100 (4hours)
- full day $150 (8hours)
- long day $195 (12hours)
- $20 per 15 min over time is charged after 5 minutes
- 50%surcharge for equipment hire - flat fee
- 50% surcharge for studio assistant or lighting set up by Studio 1A Sydney
- $20 backdrop fee (a $20 per lineal meter is charged to cut the backdrop due to your damage)
- $50 for large hair and make up room (flat fee)
- 20% total surcharge for Sundays
NORMAL RATES

- $25 per 15 min over time is charged after 5 minutes
- 50%surcharge for equipment hire - flat fee
- 50% surcharge for studio assistant or lighting set up by Studio 1A

STUDIO HIRE INCLUSIONS
With any studio hire booking, you gain access to the surrounding urban area around the studio. A large kitchen area is available for use with all bookings including fridge, microwave and tea and coffee facilities.
EQUIPMENT
Our Studio Lighting equipment includes the following and is charged at a flat rate of 50% of your booking (eg, $50 for 4 hour student bookings);
- Light Pro LED heads x 4
- 2x 600 flash heads
- 2x500 flash heads
- 1 x zoom head pro
- Elinchrom floor pack 2400
- Elinchrom lighting gear,
- 2m Octobox,
- various reflectors,
- beauty dishes,
- snoots,
- gels,
- Soft Boxs and;
- backdrops (white paper backdrop @4m and black velvet backdrop @10m)
FACILITIES
Bathrooms and shower is available on site and a large seperate hair and make up room is available for a flat $50 fee. The hair and make up room is equiped with mirrors, iron, ironing board, steamer and 2 clothing racks on wheels
